50 Community Hockey Coaches have been trained in the Torres Strait Island Communities

As a result of a 2 week training schedule across the eastern and western Islands in the Torres Strait Island communities, 50 new hockey coaches have been trained to support the emerging hockey programs in the Torres Strait Islands

Horn Island Coach Training

In addition, umpire training was delivered to over 35 supporters and the Torres Strait Island communities are now in discussions to increase the number of teams competing in Migi Kokan to reflect the added interest.
