Over 30 new Community Hockey Coaches accredited
Over 30 indigenous young trainees from the Djarragun College and Innisfail State High School attended Cairns Hockey on Wednesday 13th March 2010 and received their Remote Hockey Community Hockey Coaching Certificate

This program is part of the partnership with Pass Australia and assists in the vocation education and training of young indigenous students looking to make a career in the sports industry.
This is part 1 of the Community Coaching with approximately 20 students attending on Friday 19th March 2010 at Cairns Hockey from Kuranda and Cairns High Schools to undertake similar training.
This program will be the beginning of new hockey programs in these areas.
