Valent Kirk and Nelson Foster - young high school students from Horn Island completed the Community Hockey Coaching. Cindy Holman also completed this community hockey coaching accreditation and will deliver hockey programs in the Burketown community.

Nola Lewin from Bamaga in the Northern Peninsula Area of Cape York advanced to Beginner Coach along with Steven Mohr of Horn Island. 2 parents from Thursday Island Stuart and Beverly Thomson upgraded their coaching skills and will assist in community programs on Thursday Island.
