Pass Australia Hockey Training Begins
Over 50 students enrolled at 6 High Schools in the Cairns Region begin the community hockey coach training program. This will be delivered over 4 weeks and it is hoped that these students will then have obtained sufficient hockey skills to take training of local primary school teams,
Pass Students undertaking communtiy hockey coach training
Students are taught to coach 2-3 basic hockey skills each session culminating ina session of game strategy.
This training is being delivered by the Remote Hockey Program IDO who have gone through this training themselves.
mentoring, leadership and personal and professional growth are all invovled in this new and exciting community program.
