About the Course

The Remote Hockey Program is working with the National Hockey Accreditation Program to service the needs of the developing programs in the remote and indigenous communities.

The Remote Hockey Program compliments the Hockey Ed – National Coaching Program and looks to see how best we can deliver practical hockey coaching courses which relate to the facilities, environment, culture and language as well as the programs that will be developed in consultation with community representatives.

In many cases – these coaching courses need to be modified and specifically produced to ensure that the skills that are being taught and the coaches are being educated to be able to coach these skills taking into account the environment/facilities/ equipment and other factures such as culture and language.
