Torres Strait Hockey Squad member goes to the State Titles

Congratulations to Courtney Durham who was selected in the Cairns Hockey Under 13 Girls Team to complete in the Hockey Queensland State Under 13 Championships in Warwick this week. We wish Courtney the best of luck along with her Cairns team mates The Cape Squad of which Courtney is a member will travel to Karumba to participate in the Gulf -v- Cape/Torres Challenge, a program to offer regional competition to members of remote and indigenous/islander communities.

Courtney Durham is a member of theTorres Strait Hockey development squad and has been in partnership with Cairns Hockey, Remote Hockey Program and Island community working hard on ways to maintanin and develop her hockey on Thursday Island.
