Gulf -v- Cape Challenge
The best young people from the Gulf Savannah and Torres Strait/NPA communities will play a series of hockey games at the upgraded Karumba Recreation Club during the June/July school holidays.
This challenge will highlight the progress of hockey in the Remote Communities and will provide opportunities in the Remote Hockey Pathways to Opportunity Program.
This initiative ia a partnership between Hockey Qld Remote Program, GSRA Inc, Karumba community, Vacation Care Program and Tagai College in the Torres Strait.
It is supported by Sport and recreation Queensland, Department of Communities (commonwealth) and Australian Sports Commission - Indigenous Sport Program.
