Many Cultures - One Direction
We recognize we must be close
The heat permeates through our body, our bones making us feel alive
It would be on the Islands of the Torres Strait
It could be any one of the communities of the Gulf Savannah
It is Remote Queensland
Yesterday it formed a lake reflecting the devastion of a small community
Tomorrow it is the 1st hole of the Golf Course
Today - it is the venue for the Gulf -v- Caoe/Torres Hockey Challenge
Forever it is the value of community
It hears and feels laughter, anguish, joy and disappointment
It offers hope, opportunity reward and success
It teaches skills, discipline dedication patience and understanding
It reflects who and what we are
It gives back 10 times of what it takes
It finds you friends for life
It holds a million years of stories
One of which is part of yours
It is a dangerous and it is beautiful
It is the Remote Hockey Program
