INTEREST GROWING IN CREATING CHAMPIONS EXHIBIT
The Hockey Queensland Remote Program Exhibit at Champions Trophy Melbourne has seen a steady flow of visitors over the first 2 days of Champions Trophy. Creating Champions - highlghts and promotes the indigeneous and Islander programs running through-out Queensland as well as displaying items of Hockey Art

The exhibit has seen nearly 200 visitors in 2 days and interest is growing by the visitors from overseas to the indigenous and Islander designs painted on the hockey sticks
Australian visitors to the exhibit have been impressed with the quality of the programs being delivered.
The Creating Champions design is gaining widespread appeal with T shirts and warm up shirts being sold.
The exhibit will continue on Tuesday and culminate on Thursday with a program highlighting and promoting Indigenous and Islander culture during the games on 3rd December 2009.
A series of presentations of hockey art, certificates and booklets will be made to the teams on Thursday as well as the Kookaburra's wearing warm up shirts with the design and Des Abbott using a stick especially painted with indigenous design for him.
