This Exhibit will be part of the Hockey Australia Game Development Area and will highlight both original and photographs of Hockey Art Programs conducted as part of a program to combine culture and hockey in Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities.

One of the Remote Program's indigenous artists - Kevin Edmonstone will design a unique image that reflects hockey's journey into the Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities and the relationship with pathways towards playing at international level with the Kookaburra's.

This design will be displayed on Kookaburra warm up shirts worn on 3rd December 2009 as well as sticks being used in warm up by Des Abbott on the same day.

6 uniquely painted sticks will be presented to the teams competing on the 3rd December 2009. The Federation of International Hockey will also receive a presentation to reflect the special day.

It is also anticipated that special clinics for indigneous young people will be conducted on the 3rd December 2009.

More information on the project will be available at the Exhibit.
