Karumba Hockey Festival Grade 6/7 winners come from the local community
Karumba residents came out in numbers to see the final of the grade 6/7 hockey competition when Karumba played Georgetown. There was nothing between these two teams through-out the 3 days and it came down to extra time to decide between them.

The highlight of this game was the great spirit in which it was played. There was much rivalry between the teams but the sportsmanship shown by both teams should be recognized.
The teams were playing double extra time before a result was seen.
Congratulations to all team members, coaches and supporters. It was an excellent end to a successful hockey competition
