New Hockey Programs being introduced to the Southern Cape Communities
Communities such as Mossman, Daintree, Port Douglas and Alexander Bay have invited the remote hockey program to design some hockey participation and training programs with the view to creating long term competition in this area.
Community support is high for this program and plans are underway to develop local hockey competitions which will coordinate with the Cairns Hockey Association fixtures.
There will be a real opportunity for Club Development when new areas are opened up to the sport.
The first clinics will be conducted after Easter and will continue throughout April, May and June 2010.
