More Hockey Programs to Yarrabah

Grade 8 and 9 students at Yarrabah State High School are learning hockey through Hook in2 Hockey Programs run in conjunction with PCYC and the High School

Ena Waianga and Dalassa Savage - remote and indigenous hockey program development officers are delivering directly to these students as part of the program which encourages them to participate in regional competition in June 2011

The development officers are responsible for developing programs that meet the local needs of the school and community while encouraging greater involvement in local and regional competition.

Yarrabah is part of the No School No Play Program which encourages increased school attendance through the reward incentives built into the hockey program.
