Cairns School of Distance Education include hockey visits in school camp schedule
In response to the interest shown by the students of Cairns School of Distance in the Hook in2 Hockey sessions delivered at the beginning of the year, the remote and indigenous program invited students to visit the Cairns Hockey facilities and experience for themselves what its like to play on international facilities
A series of clinics are being run through-out this week which will give opportunities to these srudents who live in some of the more isolated properties in the Cape and Gulf Regions. The program includes students from Prep to Grade 12 and it is designed to keep the Hook in2 Hockey Program progressing taking into account the unique nature of the participants. The students play small games to highlight what they have learned.
The camp hockey program continues on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th May 2011.
