No School No Play Hockey Challenge

Local Hockey Program have been delivered into the communities of Boulia, Dajarra, Cloncurry, Camooweal and Urandanji through community AASC programs including Hook in2 Hockey Programs.

Communities signed up to support the No School No Play Program and received hockey equipment to support the hockey programs and highlight the benefits of regular physical activity.

The School, Parents and Students committed to supporting regular school attendance as integral to the success of the program. All students attending the hockey carnival have displayed a commitment to attending school and of being of good behaviour through the 3 months of the local hockey program.

This is an inclusion program looking to support all those who have satisfied the obligations and want to be involved. 2 divisions will be played. Grade 4and 5 will compete in the junior completition while the senior competition will be contested by grade 6 and 7 students.

We wish all participants and supporters the best of luck and ongoing success.
