Remote Program Successful in ASC Women's Leadership Grant Application
A grant of $10.000.00 has been awarded to Remote Hockey Officiating Course and Mentor Program - throughout Torres Strait Island Communities and Gulf Savannah by the2009 Sport Leadership Grants and Scholarships for Women.
The Project aims to accredit women in remote communities in particular indigenous women with modified officiating accreditation to make it easier to teach skills and advance the sport taking into account the facilities, culture ,equipment and language.
