Remote and Indigenous Hockey Program begin discussions on Centre for Excellence focusing on Indigenous Sport, Education and Health
Community consultation begins across the indigenous community of far north Queensland in support of a centre for excellence focusing on Indigenous Sport, Education and Health. This facility would complement the new international hockey pitch recently completed in the new sporting precinct in cairns north as part of the Cairns Hockey Association multi stage international facility.
It is anticipated that community partnershps will be identified and developed to ensure a community inclusion strategy is delivered to support indigenous interests across northern australia as well as Queensland.
