Q150 Program
Reflect on Our Past, Image our Future. Q150 Community Funding Program. Combining Sport and Culture through Hockey Art in the Torres Strait. An Interactive Approach of Reflecting on our Past and Imagining our Future.
This Project is a partnership between Hockey Queensland and the Torres Strait communities and will raise awareness to the Q150 celebrations by recording culturally significant events in a unique way through Hockey Art – the painting of sticks and balls and noting the accompanying stories and producing a book and DVD depicting the art and storytelling in the traditional way and promoting this and the development of the hockey program to all the hockey communities, the Torres Strait Island communities and other relevant organizations.
