2010 Workshop - Challenge of Change scheduled for December 2010
This workshop will discuss the significant role indigenous women play in the development of hockey programs and ways to develop effective leadership. governance, networking and mentoring support programs.
This workshop is being delivered with support from funding received through the Indigenous Womens Grant - Commonwealth Department Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
More information will be detailed shortly but it is anticipated between 15-20 indigenous women and girls will be invited to take part to discuss and be involved in the development of programs to engage young women in sport and hockey programs, encourage the establishment of a network of support and mentoring and to identify indigenous women in leadership roles and support these women to continue to be involved.
