Remote Hockey Coaching Manager – David McNeil

Summary of Duties:
- > administer the Remote Hockey coaching program
- > mentor and teach identified community members and upgrade skills to deliver into remote communities
- > Manage, oversee and review existing remote hockey coaches
- > Regularly travel to remote communities to coach coaches and identified players and to
- conduct camps and workshops
- > Initiate regular coaching clinics and work with Tafe, Colleges and other organizations.

Summary of Duties:
- assist in the mentoring support through-out the program
- support and assist the indigenous development officers in their professional development
- assist and support the Indigenous Hockey pathways Support Program
- assist in the conduct of camps and workshops
- Initiate regular coaching clinics and work with Tafe, Colleges and other organizations.

- Develop, initiate, update and administer a state-wide coaching program
- Oversee strategic & operational plans, budgets for the HQ under-pinning programme
- Mentor and teach identified coaches and upgrade technical skills
- Manage, oversee and review Hockey Queensland Regional Coaching Directors
- Regularly travel to regional centres to coach coaches and identified players and to conduct camps and workshops
