This report sets out the 2010/2011 Women's Leadership Program delivered by the HQ Remote and Indigenous Hockey Program

LEARN LEAD ACHIEVE - PASS AUSTRALIA PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM - INTERIM REPORT APRIL 2011

Remote and Indigenous Hockey has partnered with Passs Australia to deliver hockey programs as part of the leadership and community support programs. Over 70 young indigenous students in Gradse 11 and 12 undertaking Certificate 2 in Sport and Recreation are completing programs that introduce hockey, deliver participation programs, involve themselves in skill development and ultimately undertake the role of coach in regional competition.

Mt Isa and North West Hockey Program Report

2011 saw the hockey program begin delivery of the LEARN LEAD ACHIEVE PROGRAM into the remote and indigenous communities of the north west in Queensland

2010- 2011 ISRF Report

Funding was received from Indigenous Sport and Recreation Program through the Commonwwealth Government and this funding was applied towards the employment of Indigenous Trainee Development Officer

Western Cape York Communities Hockey Program Interim Report

A program to introduce hockey into the communities of the Western Cape York Communities and supporting: • increasing health and regular physical activity to the younger people of the Region • increasing regular school attendance rates through participation in the program

2011 TORRES STRAIT ISLAND HOCKEY PROGRAM INTERIM REPORT

The Remote and Indigenous Hockey Program travelled to the Islands of the Torres Strait in August 2011 to strengthen local hockey programs and upgrade local coaches with the view of building sustaining programs
